Ways to Visit IMSA
IMSA's models of teaching and learning in mathematics, science and technology are recognized nationally and abroad. An important part of our mission is to share resources and information with educators, students and the general public in Illinois and beyond.
While we don't have the capacity to serve walk-in visitors, we strive to deliver the highest quality service to our valued partners and guests through scheduled programs and events held throughout the year:
- We encourage prospective students and parents to learn about our open house dates and information sessions hosted by our Admissions Office.
- Throughout the year, our Center@IMSA delivers services, programs and events for educators, students and the general public.
- To arrange a group tour, contact IMSA's Event Coordinator at facilities@imsa.edu. If you have any other questions about IMSA's programs and services, please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Directions by Bus & Rail
Pace Route #532 - Sullivan Road serves IMSA Monday through Saturday and connects with twelve other Pace routes in the Fox Valley region. Route #532 also connects IMSA to Metra's Burlington Northern Santa Fe commuter rail line, which reaches Chicago's Loop from Aurora in as few as fifty minutes.

Directions by Auto
From the north:
Take I-294 or I-290/I-355 to I-88. Go west on I-88. Pass Rt. 31 in Aurora. Exit at Orchard Rd. Turn left on Orchard Rd., then left on Sullivan Rd. (second traffic light). Proceed several blocks. IMSA will be on your right. Turn right into the second parking lot (east side of the campus).
From the northwest:
Take I-90 to Rt. 20 (near Rockford). Take Rt. 20 east to I-39/Rt. 51 south to I-88 east. Exit at Orchard Rd. Turn left on Orchard Rd., then left on Sullivan Rd. (second traffic light). Proceed several blocks. IMSA will be on your right. Turn right into the second parking lot (east side of the campus).
From Chicago:
Take I-290 west to I-88 west. Pass Rt. 31 in Aurora. Exit at Orchard Rd. Turn left on Orchard Rd., then left on Sullivan Rd. (second traffic light). Proceed several blocks. IMSA will be on your right. Turn right into the second parking lot (east side of the campus).
From the west:
Take I-88 east to Orchard Rd. Exit at Orchard Rd. Turn left on Orchard Rd., then left on Sullivan Rd. (second traffic light). Proceed several blocks. IMSA will be on your right. Turn right into the second parking lot (east side of the campus).
From the south:
Take I-55 to Rt. 47 (north) to Sugar Grove. Proceed past Rt. 30, then turn right on Galena Blvd. (Phillips 66 gas station on corner). Proceed several miles, turn left on Orchard Rd., then right on Sullivan Rd. Proceed several blocks. IMSA will be on your right. Turn right into the second parking lot (east side of campus).
OR, take I-355 to I-88 west. Pass Rt. 31. Exit at Orchard Rd. Turn left on Orchard Rd., then left on Sullivan Rd. (second traffic light). Proceed several blocks. IMSA will be on your right. Turn right into the second parking lot (east side of campus).
