Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy students and staff recently had the opportunity to meet with and pose questions to U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin and State Rep. Linda Chapa LaVia.
U.S. Sen. Durbin and State Rep. LaVia visited the Academy on August 22, 2003 and had the chance to take a tour of IMSA, including the Grainger Center for Imagination and Inquiry (pictured).
During a session with IMSA students and staff, Durbin called upon students to consider a career in public service.
