IMSA DRAMA CLUB TO PRESENT 12 ANGRY MEN

AURORA- The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) Drama Club will present the dramatic play 12 Angry Men, by Reginald Rose, April 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m., and April 25 at 2:00 p.m., in the IMSA Auditorium.

During the trial of a man accused of his father's murder, a lone juror takes a stand against the guilty verdict handed down by the others as a result of their preconceptions and prejudices.

The show features performances by Steven Benario of Naperville, Mark Cynski of Mundelein, Kathryn Dirks of Normal, Jason Edes of Geneva, Amanda Jablonsky of Chicago and Chris Kervick of McHenry, and others, as members of the most intriguing jury ever witnessed on stage. The play is student directed by Carly Nix of Decatur, assistant-directed by Scott Stiefel of Western Springs.

Admission charge is $2 for students and $3 for adults. This play is appropriate for most age groups.

May 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. and May 5 at 2:00 p.m. the IMSA Drama Club will be presenting the entirely student-directed One-Acts 2004, a collection of short plays.
