AURORA -- The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® (IMSA) invites applications for its Class of 2011, available at www.imsa.edu/admissions/applyOnline.
Talented Illinois students who are enrolled in the equivalent of a ninth grade program are eligible for consideration to the three-year (grades 10-12) advanced college preparatory program. All students live on campus. Tuition and most room and board expenses are provided by state funds, however some fees are charged based on family income.
The application deadline to be considered for the IMSA Class of 2011, which will enroll next fall, is drawing near. Students are encouraged to apply online at www.imsa.edu/admissions/applyOnline. Students may also download a print application at http://www.imsa.edu/admissions/apply/RevisedAp07-08.pdf.
A written application must be completed and submitted to IMSA no later than March 1, 2008. Students also can contact their high school guidance counselor or IMSA's Office of Admissions at (630) 907-5028 or 1-800-500-IMSA to access an application.
IMSA’s advanced residential college preparatory program enables academically talented Illinois students to reach extraordinary levels of achievement through a collaborative environment, which provides a challenging, integrated curriculum with real world, hands-on learning experiences.
