IMSA Excellence 2000+ Students
Prize Winning Problem Solving Opportunities
Every month two new IMSA Excellence 2000+ Problems of the Month will be posted at this site. One problem is for IMSA E2K+ students in the grades 4 through 5 program (4-5 program) and the other for IMSA E2K+ students in the grades 6 through 8 program (6-8 program). Four times annually an International Riddle is posted at this site for IMSA E2K+ students in the 6-8 program . Only students participating in IMSA Excellence 2000+ in Illinois may respond. Solutions should be submitted by individual students (not teams) and should be the student's original work. Answers must be received by the last day of the month in which the problem is posted.
Each month, we collect all of the IMSA Excellence 2000+ student responses with a correct answer and explanation. We randomly select one of these students, and award them a nice prize. So take a shot - maybe you'll be our next prize winner!
