Frontiers of Educational Technology:Bridging the Digital Divides

Date: March 6, 2002 Time: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Format: This dialogue featured a panel discussion as well as small, interactive breakout sessions. Description: If the digital divide is not only defined by differences in access to technology but also as the differences in the ability to make effective use of digital tools and resources, then there are many divides that need to be bridged. This dialogue will explore the issues related to the multiple Digital Divides and offer suggestions for closing the gaps.
