Our Environmental Destiny
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. serves as chief prosecuting attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper Fund, senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, and directs NRDC's Estuary Enforcement Project. As a law professor, he supervises the Pace Environmental Litigation Law Clinic at Pace University. Through these organizations, he has brought successful legal actions prosecuting governments and companies for polluting the Hudson River and Long Island Sound. He has successfully argued cases to expand citizen access to the shoreline and to promote environmental justice. He has written articles on environmental law and litigation, environmental justice and advocacy. He is co-author of The Riverkeepers: Two Activists Fight to Reclaim Our Environment as a Basic Human Right (1997) which is forewarded by Al Gore.
