10:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.

(Reception 5:15 - 6:15)

There is the possibility that improved understanding of the brain will bring not only improvement in education as currently practiced, but also new conceptions of the nature of education itself. This panel represents the first stage of a continuing study of how the finding of neuroscientists, the cognitive psychologists and the computer scientists can serve to advance the very process of education. IMSA and the community of teachers, educators and scientists will follow up the October 20 Panel with publications, smaller meetings and perhaps another panel in about a year.

Seating will be limited so pre-registration is required

There will be a $10.00 fee to cover the cost of lunch and a reception with the speakers.
