Science Explorers

Exploration, adventure, and ecology are the themes for this year's Science Explorers! Students in this camp will be on the hunt to explore the treasures of nature through research, labs, and direct observation. The camp will culminate with a presentation where your blooming naturalist will use what he/she has learned throughout the week to create their own eco-friendly industry! The camp is designed and taught by IMSA students with the help of IMSA staff.

Kidsplorations in Technology

Want to explore the possibilities with computers? In this program students will investigate the ins and outs of computers through programming, engineering and robotics. When away from the computer, the campers will participate in engaging hands-on activities that will reinforce the concepts behind computer science, math and engineering. This camp is designed and taught by IMSA students with the help of IMSA staff.

Jazz Music@IMSA

This camp, taught collaboratively by IMSA students and faculty, selects middle school students interested in jazz to enjoy a week of musical exploration. Each day will feature classes in music technology, improvisation, and jazz history. Students will work in small group and big band settings. There will be a culminating concert on Friday afternoon. Two years of experience and a music teacher recommendation are required for this program.
