The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® invites you to

A Day of Discovery

To be held Friday, October 26, 2007
For All Illinois Homeschooled Students Aged 10-15 and Their Parents

We are pleased to announce Dr. Leon Lederman, Nobel Laureate
and IMSA Resident Scholar as our Keynote Speaker.

Student attendees will be able to participate in interactive mathematics classes, experiential science classes and several hands-on learning activity tables. Families will be able to sit in on a high school home schooling expert panel, and sessions related to web based resources such as the Illinois Virtual High School. Information on IMSA as an option for high school aged students will also be presented.

Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a formal welcome to follow.
Day of Discovery programming will run until 1:30 p.m.

There is no cost for the IMSA Day of Discovery, but reservations are required to attend the event.
