This year, IMSA celebrated something new, fun, and worth repeating.
Our first ever Pre Pi-Day Giving Day (because Pi Day fell on a Saturday this year!) brought together supporters of the Academy for a day of generosity, competition, and community spirit.
What we achieved together:
- $14,042 raised in total support
- Including a $3,140 matching gift challenge that helped spark early momentum for the day
- 44 donors participated and gave their support
- 15 of those donors were brand new donors making their first gift to IMSA
For our very first Pre-Pi Day, these numbers represent a growing community of supporters who believe in our mission and the future of IMSA.
Part of what made Pre-Pi Day special was participation in something beyond the gifts themselves. Donors were encouraged to vote for their favorite residence hall with their contribution, adding a layer of friendly competition to the day. In the end, 1507 rose to the top to earn the most votes and also a well deserved celebration with pies for the entire hall!
