Celebrating 40 Years of Impact
Since opening its doors in 1986, IMSA has been a catalyst for innovation across Illinois, educating more than 9,000 alumni and inspiring hundreds of thousands of learners through outreach, research, entrepreneurship, and professional learning programs.
But anniversaries are not simply about looking back. They are moments to ask, “What will the next forty years require of us?” As we celebrate IMSA’s 40th anniversary, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to answer that question, not simply by honoring our past, but by shaping the future of the Academy for generations of students to come.
Thanks to a historic investment from the State of Illinois, IMSA is beginning the process of replacing its aging residence halls and creating new spaces designed to foster care, connection, and curiosity.
