The IMSA Fund for Advancement of Education touches so many aspects of the academy. Here are a few highlights of what your donations have recently helped to fund:
- The IMSA Fund helped to support 10 students to attend the American Physical Society Global Physics Summit in Denver, CO. The APS Global Physics Summit 2026 is a scientific research conference that brings together more than 14,000 physicists from around the world to showcase their work, connect with others, and discover groundbreaking physics research.
- Thanks to recent support from the IMSA Fund for Advancement of Education, IMSA is expanding its flagship PROMISE Program, a grant-funded STEM enrichment pipeline that supports culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse students beyond our Aurora campus to multiple Innovation Hubs across Illinois. This expansion brings hands-on math, science, and inquiry-based learning closer to students in their own communities, broadening access to high-quality STEM enrichment across the state. Just as importantly, it creates meaningful opportunities for students to connect with like-minded peers who share their curiosity and passion for STEM, strengthening both their academic growth and sense of belonging. Through this growth, PROMISE continues to build strong pathways for students to explore advanced STEM learning and future academic opportunities.
