The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy is a public school funded through the Illinois General Assembly. We believe that all students, regardless of their financial resources, should have the opportunity to attend the Academy.
The annual IMSA student fee is based on a formula derived from the Federal Lunch Program and assesses the fee on a graduated scale depending on total family income and the number of members in the student’s family. If the applicant qualifies for free or reduced lunch, they are eligible to receive a seat deposit fee waiver from IMSA.
Current students can find more information the fees for the 2021-2022 academic year here.
