IN2 Launches Six Summer Programs for 2016  - Scholarships available!   

2015 IMSA TALENT summer program team presenting their business model to a panel of investors at 1871All five Aurora IN2 summer programs are filled with wait lists, however all are accepting scholarship applications for deserving students through May 1, 2016. Follow this link to get more information on how to apply for one of three IMSA TALENT entrepreneurship scholarship opportunities for middle school students (grades 7-8) or one of two maker space programs -  Maker 1.0 (grades 7-8) or Maker 2.0 (grades 9-10). 

Experience the first year of a Start Up in one week!  This program will simulate creating a new tech business:  developing an idea into a product or service, finding partners, creating a business model, designing marketing plans and media, and securing financing from investors and sales.  Teamwork and problem solving will be used to overcome challenges that occur during the lifecycle of a business, with the goal of turning a profit by week’s end. A trip to 1871, Chicago's incubator for digital startups, is included.  (This experience can serve a as a springboard to enter IMSA's Power Pitch contest.) 

This program is for students entering grades 7-8 in Fall, 2016.
