Dr. Stephanie Pace Marshall Attends Clinton Global Initiative for Work in South Africa

Founding President and President Emerita Dr. Stephanie Pace Marshall attended the 2013 annual meeting for members of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) on September 23-26, 2013 in New York City. This year's CGI agenda--driving effective action on global challenges--was organized around the theme of mobilizing for impact. 

Dr. Marshall's CGI commitment helped to build the first residential high school for girls in the Massai Mara in Kenya. Kisaruni High School opened in 2010 and will graduate its first class in 2014. Her current CGI Commitment involves working with universities, national educational leaders and developers to design and build exemplary early childhood,primary and secondary schools for children in the rural townships of South Africa.
