Five IMSA Students Selected to Perform at All-State IMEA Music Festival

Five IMSA students have been selected for inclusion in the Illinois Music Education Association (IMEA) All-State Music Festival after delivering impressive performances at auditions for the yearly festival’s concert, which will take place in Peoria on January 31st.

“The students have worked very hard to achieve the honor of performing with the All-State Ensembles,” said Fine Arts Faculty Member Mary Beth McCarthy. “We are very proud of their achievement."

IMSA’s  two seniors, two sophomores, and one junior were among the top ranking students in each of their instrumental sections from their district. They will play alongside the best high school musicians in Illinois at the 67th annual IMEA All-State Conference festival.
