Science, mathematics and technology take center stage in Summer@IMSA programs as students discover, explore, and problem-solve in innovative ways.
For example, Kids in Engineering students started off in ancient times and learned about pumps, aqueducts, glasses, and waterwheels. They learned how aqueducts were used to transport water over terrain, talked about water pressure, gravitational potential energy, and siphons. Students had the opportunity to build their own small aqueduct to test out how to build them and how quickly water would move through them.
