Personal Reflection

May 31, 2018

Dear IMSA Family

Hats off to students, faculty and staff upon completion of the 2017/2018 academic year! Special congratulations to the Class of 2018 who graduate with distinction this coming Saturday.  They only arrived here three short years ago, and now it's already time for them to leave. How did it all go so fast?

Dear IMSA Family,

We are now in the home stretch just several weeks before the end of the school year. Final papers and projects, exams, Advanced Placement examinations and college decisions are now the only thing between us and commencement. Of course, we can’t forget senior prom, senior banquet, senior recognition and transition day!

Before we wrap up the school year, I wanted to provide you with a brief update on our budget hearings. We just had an amazing week in Springfield!

Dear IMSA Community,

Even with the distance created by time between the shooting in Parkland, Florida and today, I still choke up when I consider the loss of life that happened at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, Valentine’s Day, two weeks ago.  Read the names and ages of the young people whose lives were taken:
