Computer (Desktop/Laptop) Support and Services

  • Implementation of Desktop/Laptop Management Solution (Project Lead: Ralph Flickinger):
    • This is an on-going project to improve computing device security, management and reporting:
      • Enables more rapid deployment of new/replacement computers
      • Improved deployment of operating system patches and security updates
      • Improved/On-Demand deployment of software applications and printer configurations
      • On-demand inventory of installed software on IMSA computing devices

Multi-Media Services and Support

  • ALLIES YouTube Video Segments (Project Leads: Bill McGrail, Michelle Kolar, Gwen Joose, Caremla Jones, Christine Mosalik)
    • ITMC and PFS will work together to create a series of 10 minute STEM based episodes that will be shared via YouTube
    • ALLIES students will begin to write the scripts for the first 10 minute segment. The goal is to have the student team in place and the first 10 minute episode completed by May 2016 with the second minute episode ready to be delivered by October 2016.

  • IN2 A/V Technical Design and Procurement
    • ITMC is working with IN2 team to design and aid in procuring the mutli-media technology for the space, including the media wall.

  • Alumni Reflections Video Recording
    • Compiling a database of alumni reflection testimonial video that can be used in various IMSA related media projects
    • Scheduled to set up sessions to capture as many as possible during Alumni Weekend (7/16/2016)
    • Status: On going
  • Digitization of Archived Media (Project Lead: Bill McGrail)
    • ITMC is currently organizing, data basing and digitizing archived medias (photo and video) so that they can be shared internally, and externally where allowed.
    • Status: On Going
  • Poster Printing to Digital Signage
    • ITMC and Student Life are working together to move the event driven, elections and co-cirricular news driven "posters" from a printed medium to a digitally displayed medium.  With budget constraints, we have implemented a short-term solution of using the large screen in the Old Cafeteria (run by USB/Blu Ray Player). 
    • Student Council is collaborating with ITMC to come up with a cost effective way to use Google Chrome Cast to drive future & existing displays.
