IMSA Printer Consolidation Project (ITS-P2)

Printer Consolidation Zone Map

Copy Room Guidelines (2014-11)

Purpose/Description:

  • This project’s intended result is to consolidate printing devices throughout the IMSA community into several strategically located black and white or color high speed, high efficiency multi-function printer/copier/scanner devices. This project was initiated by a joint directive from Central Management Services (CMS) and the Governor’s Office. The directive from CMS only addressed black and white devices, however this project will be also considering color printing needs for the Academy. If you would like to review the zone map developed for the consolidation plan please stop by the ITS Office. The schedule for deploying the new multi-function devices was based on the age of existing devices, issues with existing devices and potential cost savings, but is ultimately subject to ongoing budget constraints. Existing printers will be phased out or re-allocated depending on service and support availability, repair costs or institutional needs.
