The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is pleased to announce that Dr. José Torres, President, has been named a finalist for 2018 Golden Apple Stanley C. Golder Leadership Award.

The National Merit® Scholarship Program recently named 45 finalists from IMSA in its 2018 competition. IMSA finalists represent 27 different communities throughout Illinois. Nearly 25 percent of IMSA’s senior class are recognized as finalists.

Lt. Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti, Deputy Governor Leslie Munger and officials from IMSA  on Feb 23, 2018, announced the launch of the Illinois Bicentennial STEM Fusion campaign.
