Back by popular demand, IMSA is accepting registrations for two separate professional development day opportunities to be held March 2, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at IMSA. 

One team from IMSA received the highest ranking possible in the 14th annual international High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling (HiMCM). Their performance placed IMSA among the top seven schools in the world in this year’s competition.

IMSA Class of 2008 Alumnus David Chang is featured as an "MIT Computer Science Rockstar" in an online magazine highlighting "interesting personalities and pure talent."

IMSA invites submissions for the IMSA25 Art Exhibit and Auction to be held during its 25th Anniversary Gala this Spring.

English faculty member Dan Gleason of Chicago is among the more than 6,200 accomplished teachers nationwide in 2011 to complete the rigorous national certification process that credentials successful candidates as Master Teachers.

Intersession is happening this week at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.

Registrations are now being accepted for IMSA's Annual Professional Learning Day in March, featuring new sessions for History teachers.

IMSA sophomore Ethan Bian of Bloomington was named one of only 13 finalists from more than 150 fdfadsfds high school teams nationwide in the Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) High School Cyber Forensics Challenge at Polytechnic Institute of New York University (NYU-Poly). 

For the sixth year, IMSA’s Information Resource Center and student volunteers coordinated and hosted IMSA Community Family Reading Night for area elementary school students and their families. This year’s theme was “Reading Around the World!”

IMSA Mathematics Faculty Member Dr. Don Porzio of Batavia recently began his two-year term as President of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) following his election by members of the state organization.
