A senior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® (IMSA) is one of only two students from Illinois and among 40 in the nation who were named Intel Science Talent Search (Intel STS) Finalists.
Tickets are now available for the event IMSA – A Shining Star to be held Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 6:00 -9:00 p.m. at the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum in Chicago and featuring Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy alumnus Dr. Scott Gaudi ’91, who received worldwide media attention for leading a team of 69 international astronomers in discovering a solar system similar to our own.
