The Illinois House of Representatives passed a House Resolution in honor of an IMSA senior being named a finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search Competition.
Illinois State Rep. Daniel Biss introduced the Resolution honoring IMSA senior Adam Kalinich of Glen Ellyn and Jordan Cotler of Glenbrook North High School. Both Kalinich and Cotler were among only 40 finalists nationwide named in the competition. An excerpt of the House Resolution follows:
WHEREAS, In order for the State of Illinois and the United States of America to retain and expand upon our position as economic and research leaders, our population requires individuals who attain world-class achievements in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, such as those attained by Jordan Cotler and Adam Kalinich; and
