Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I help save a seat?
A. A one-time donation of $525 or $1,500 for a front row seat will save a seat and get your name engraved on a Wall of Honor with other donors.
Q. Is donating to the Save a Seat campaign tax deductible?
A. Yes! We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Q. Can’t the seats just be reupholstered?
A. Reupholstering the seats does not make them more comfortable. Additionally, the spring mechanism on the seats also needs replacing, and the cost to do so is greater than just buying new seats.
Q. Can I buy one of the old seats?
A. A few of the seats may be available for sale. A few may also be auctioned off to raise money for the campaign.
Q. Can I pick which seat to save?
A. No. A donation of $525 or $1,500 replaces one seat in the auditorium, but not a specific seat.
Q. Can I have my name on my own plaque on a seat?
A. Plaques will not be placed on seats, as they would be too small to read. Your name will be on a more highly-visible Wall of Honor Plaque where over 9,000 students, parents and partners frequent every year.
