Ms. Amber Lange, M.P.A.
Chief Mission and Impact Officer
Amber brings over 25 years of higher education experience to IMSA. She served nearly two decades at Clemson University, where she held progressively senior leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Assistant Vice President of Educational Access and Engagement, Executive Director of College Preparation and Outreach, and Director of the Emerging Scholars Program. In these capacities, she expanded statewide STEM access, secured millions in private and institutional funding, and founded and directed a new office for K–12 college access, which housed numerous programs that helped expose underrepresented students to higher education. Her work has consistently advanced educational equity and broadened opportunities for underrepresented, rural, first-generation, and low-income students. Amber began her higher education career in residential life as a resident assistant at SIUE, a hall director at Clemson, and an area coordinator at American University. Amber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from SIUE, a master’s degree in public administration from Clemson, and is currently an educational leadership doctoral candidate at Clemson.
