Work with IMSA for NGSS Professional Development
The Statewide Educator Innovation team can help update your science curriculum, aligned with Next Generation Science Standards through customized learning experiences for your team, entire school, or district. Our team is available to host in-person PD at IMSA, visit local schools, or provide consultation online.
During professional development, educators will learn
- How to construct K-5 NGSS-aligned activities with an emphasis on data collection and analysis
- Identify the gaps in their current science curriculum
- Create lessons in collaboration with IMSA specialists and colleagues
To create a learning experience plan or ask questions about our NGSS professional development, contact our program specialist Karina at kvillarreal@imsa.edu.
.
Summer PD will be available in person at IMSA for K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade NGSS Standards. Click the links below for direct registration. We also invite you to look at our additional summer professional development options.
