IMSA Innovation Hub – Chicago

The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy has moved beyond the walls of its internationally recognized Aurora, IL, campus to expand science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs and services in Chicago. IMSA’s University of Illinois-Pilsen Campus office offers STEM enrichment programs for area students and professional development programs for educators.

Fee: Free (spots are limited)

A hands-on STEM program where students in grades 6-8 explore 3D printing, digital fabrication, and urban design. Students will learn how to design prototypes, bring them to life with fabrication tools, and reflect on how technology can shape the world around them.
