World Languages Faculty – Russian
Dr. Zaykovskaya has a Ph.D. in Second Language Studies earned at Michigan State University and two degrees from the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia: MA in Philological Education and a Ph.D. in the Russian Language. Prior to joining IMSA, she taught English, Russian, and various courses on language learning at universities in Russia and in the United States. Dr. Zaykovskaya is an active researcher specializing in sociolinguistics and second language acquisition. She is an indoor person who is afraid of the cold and enjoys 3-D puzzles, board games, and spending time with her three gorgeous cats.
