All of the Aurora high schools are teaming up with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation for the “Aurora Vs. Cancer Basketball Shootout.” An average of 13 children are diagnosed with a brain tumor every day, making it the deadliest of childhood cancers.
To help support these amazing children and their families, varsity basketball teams from all over the City of Aurora are gathering on January 21, 2023, to compete in a community basketball tournament to raise money and awareness for this foundation.
IMSA has set a goal of $3500. To donate, follow this link. Any amount will help children in their fight against cancer, so please feel free to donate whatever you feel you can. Half of the proceeds will go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and the other half will go to a local hospital to help with their fight against pediatric cancer.
